A Playful Fall Family Session in Batavia, IL

There's something about photographing families in this season of life that makes my heart so happy. The endless energy, the contagious laughter, and the little moments of connection that happen so naturally when everyone is simply enjoying being together.

This beautiful fall family session was filled with exactly that. Set against the iconic Fabyan Windmill, we spent the afternoon embracing all the fun and spontaneity that comes with two little ones. From being tossed into the air by dad to sweet moments with mom and the biggest belly laughs, this session was a reminder that family photos don't have to be perfectly posed to be meaningful. Sometimes the most beautiful images come from simply letting kids be kids.

The historic windmill, open green spaces, and gorgeous autumn sunshine made for such a charming backdrop. I especially loved the warm, earthy tones of this family's outfits against the natural scenery.
